Morels and Asparagus Gratin

Cooking time: 40 Minutes
Prep time: 15 Minutes
Makes: 4 Servings

1/2 pound of chopped Morels

1 lb cleaned and peeled Asparagus

½  chopped yellow onion

2 chopped garlic cloves

½  glass of dry white wine

1 cup heavy cream

1 ounce butter

1/8  teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

½ cup Oregon Blue Cheese (from Rogue Creamery)

 1/8 graded fresh nutmeg


Mix all ingredients except for the Oregon Blue in a large mixing bowl.  

Place the mixture in a baking dish, topped with cheese in a preheated oven at 375 degrees. 

Bake for 40 minutes.  

Just that simple.
