Oregon Truffle Gelato

Process time: about 60 minutes
Makes: 12 servings for $20 or less


3 cups whole milk
3 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 once white or black Oregon truffle finely hand chopped


1. Heat cream, milk and sugar to a simmer and then, let it cool down.
2. When the liquid is warm, add truffles let sit in a fridge OVER NIGHT
3. Put the mixture and spin it in an ice cream machine.
